Dear Patients,

Dear Patients,

Update from Firdale MC

After many years of NHS service and looking after many generations of Northwich patients Dr Brown and Dr Norman decided to retire from the partnership. Both will finish on the 31st March this year. Dr Norman is currently on annual leave and will not return to practice before the end of March.
I would like to thank them both for their leadership throughout the existence of the practice before and after Firdale Medical Centre relocated to our current premises.

Dr Claire Edmundson who has been working with us for the past years has become a new partner in the practice and will share leadership responsibilities with Dr Geoghegan and Dr Powell going forward.

We have also been joined by Dr Georgina Washbrook who started on the 11th of March. Dr Washbrook is an experience GP who has relocated to us from Holmes Chapel.

To complete the team we have Dr Hossein Seyedin and Dr Laura Harrison who finished her GP training last year and also agreed to take on the salaried position in the practice.

Both Dr Brown’s and Dr Norman’s retirement means that those of you who have been registered with them will need to be transferred to one of the other GPs within the practice. We will manage this process and you do not need to do anything. It will not affect your registration with the practice.
